Warranty & Adjustments
The one-year frame warranty
Every Meridian frame is covered for one year from delivery against defects in materials and workmanship: hinge failure under normal use, finish peeling or bubbling, solder or weld failures, and coating delamination on lenses. If it's our fault, we replace the frame or the pair — your choice of the same model or store credit.
What the warranty doesn't cover
- Impact damage, sat-on frames, and pet incidents (we've seen everything; we still can't cover it)
- Scratched lenses — scratches are wear, not defects
- Damage from solvents, heat (dashboards in summer are lens killers), or non-optical repairs
- Normal aging of nose pads and temple tips — though we'll send replacement pads free, just ask
Kids' frames: the one-time free replacement
Every Little Lark kids' frame includes a one-time free replacement within the first year, including breakage that is absolutely the child's fault. No receipts beyond the order number, no interrogation about how it happened. Email us a photo of the casualty and we ship a replacement.
Adjustments
Frames arrive in standard alignment, and most faces need a small tweak: temple bend, nose pad angle, or levelling. Any local optical shop will do this in minutes, usually free even if you didn't buy there — it's the barbershop rule of the optical world. We'll happily talk you through a DIY adjustment for acetate frames by email, but please don't take pliers to wire frames on our advice.
How to make a claim
Email hello@meridianeyewear.example with your order number, a photo of the issue, and a sentence about what happened. Claims are answered within two business days. For returns unrelated to defects, see Shipping & Returns.
